Spoon Carving Class

Students hand-carve their own wooden spoon using traditional Japanese tools and techniques. We begin with an overview of wood types, tools, and cutting techniques, then guide participants through carving the bowl with a spoon gouge, shaping the handle, and finishing with an all-natural wood butter.

All tools provided for class use, with discounted purchase option available.
